Patients
Register and find patients, the patient file, and reviewing possible duplicates.
Register a patient
- Press Ctrl+K and type
add patient, or open Patients then New patient. - Fill in name and phone number. Everything else can wait.
- Save. The patient gets a permanent patient number.
Find a patient
Press Ctrl+K and type a name or phone number. Records appear under results with your role deciding visibility. Phone numbers in Eastern Arabic digits are normalized automatically.
The patient file
Open a patient to see their file. The tabs cover appointments, billing, communications, files, history, insurance, medical, notes, preferences, and a combined timeline.
- Timeline merges everything in one chronological view.
- Billing shows invoices, payments, and outstanding balance.
- AI summarizes risk and suggested next actions for this patient.
Duplicate and shared numbers
Wareed never merges two patients by itself. When identity is uncertain, for example one phone used by a family, it creates a Cleanup candidate instead of guessing.
To review Cleanup:
- Open Patients, then Cleanup.
- Review each item: the reason, suggested match, and source conversation.
- Choose keep separate, link relationship, or merge. Merging needs the cleanup merge permission and an explicit confirmation.
Pre-visit answers and the chart
When a patient submits a pre-visit form, their medication, allergy, and condition lists are compared with the chart. Changes are shown as new or no longer listed. A clinician can copy the confirmed lists into the chart with Update chart with confirmed lists after reviewing them with the patient.
Book for a family member
If someone writes from their own number asking to book for a relative, the appointment must belong to the relative, not the sender. Fatma handles this by creating the relative as their own profile linked through a Cleanup item, so booking completes without waiting for a merge decision.
